The Daily Office
If you're a really serious Anglican, this could be your opening page for the start-up of your internet connection. It gives you the full Morning Prayer and Evensong services every day, complete with all the readings and canticles. You can even listen to the canticles being sung. It's a good and joyful thing these days when the Daily Office is vanishing from our public services.
The Cyber Hymnal
This site has some 4600 hymns of various denominations, mostly "oldies," searchable by title, tune name, author, etc. If you have a proper sound card and speakers, you can play them and sing along. You can even download the score.
RCL Commentary
Commentary on the RCL readings. A good resource for readers to understand the texts. The sidebar gives the context of each of the corresponding books. |
